WELCOME! I *occasionally* write about my running/training/kitchen adventures as a way to record & learn from my disasters & triumphs...& maybe to inspire/spur someone on to explore the fun of running. We welcomed our little boy in the spring of 2016 & have been learning how to train & regain fitness post-baby {while juggling working, school, & being a mama/wife}! Cholesterol...
Random: I got my latest blood work reports back from my doctor's office in yesterday's mail and apparently marathon training is great for your cholesterol ;). When I 1st had it tested back in October last year, my total cholesterol was 208 which was sorta high (but my dr. wasn't concerned because my "good" cholesterol was 76...which is high for that and is a good thing). When I went on Thurs, apparently my cholesterol was 157. Sweet! Even though my dr. wasn't concerned by the 1st tests last year, I still didn't like that my cholesterol was technically "high"...so I am glad it is in a better range now.
